status quo
sometimes bad things arent that bad, balance is needed
take for example piracy, and more specifically Warcraft 3... hmm... if there is no pirated Warcraft, fewer people will play Dota, Dota will be less popular and people wont buy original game for Dota... therefore piracy helps promote a game
however, looking at things from the perpective of the creators, pirated copies make no money for them, so they barely benefited
hmm... but arguably, they still benefitted though and the main point is that they made more money... its better to sell at lower price than keeping the stock and make a loss, similiar logic can be applied...
therefore some bad things arent that bad...
maintain status quo, police will forever chase pirates and make pirated copies slightly hard to get to prevent piracy from taking too big a share of the market while pirates will always escape and make sure that cheaper copies will be available to those who search and make the thing popular
therefore some status quo should be maintain
as for some balance... it shouldnt be balance at all in the first place...
